Japamalas
A Japamala is a strand of 108 beads. They are a string of prayer beads commonly used in Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. It is a tool to aid us in meditation and in yoga practices as we count mantras in sets of 108 repetitions. Japamalas are typically made of various seeds, woods and gemstones, which possess metaphysical healing properties that can heal our mind, body and spirit.
Because they have significant spiritual meaning, this makes them an essential part of any mindful meditation or yoga practice.
