Prayer Flag Chakras

Prayer flags are colorful cloth banners traditionally used in Tibetan Buddhism. They are printed with prayers, mantras, and symbols, and are hung to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. As the wind blows, it is believed to carry the blessings across the land, benefiting all beings.

In Sanskrit, Chakra means "wheel". Our bodies contain seven of these energy wheels, each with a unique character and a connection to various aspects of our being.

The 7 chakras are represented separately on Tibetan cotton squares that are all tied together to form this 30" prayer flag.
